The Mercedes s250 has a filtration system like no other. Firstly dirt passes into the special filtration paper bag which reduces dust that escapes with conventional paper bags. Then we have a micro filter which gets changed every 5 bags and is supplied in each box, this stops the main filter clogging. Then we have a half carbon-half half-hepa filter, the carbon side removes all odours for example from pet hair and the hepa side removes all dust upto 0.3 microns. Resulting in absolute pure air entering the motor compartment extended the motors life dramatically. This clean air then passes over the motor cooling it down and is blown out via the exhaust filter which catches any carbon produced by the motor. This exhaust filter is also supplied with each 5 bags. The air which is then blown into the room is absolutely clean, excellent for people who suffer from allergies and breathing complaints.

Not only is the filtration fantastic on the Mercedes s250 but they are very simple to change. The whole upper body lifts up exposing the entire bag and filter compartment so they can be easily changed.

The Mercedes s250 has a full onboard tool kit easily accessible and neatly hidden away in a compartment on top of the machine.
The tools are of the highest quality and provide you with everything you should need to do all jobs around the home and in the car.

If you find you need brushing power on carpets or have a problem with pet hair, then add either the turbo head which uses some suction to rotate a brush which scrubs the carpet, or the battery operated head which gives better scrubbing power and keep 100% suction.

The Mercedes s250 has a digital power-variator where as the s200 is manually operated. The Mercedes s250 also has the wiring and socket located at the top near the handle, which enables a mains powered electronic rotating carpet brush head to be used (optional). The head will offer much greater power and brushing performance than any other head and is recommended for people with pets or those who seek the same performance as an upright vacuum cleaner.
